Vitalia Active Adult Community – Rockside Looks Forward to This Year’s Spring-Cleaning

Spring-cleaning is celebrated in cultures across the world. Due to the tilt of the Earth on its axis, the northern hemisphere begins to see the winter-scape come to life with daffodils blooming, grass greening, and temperatures warming during late March, into early April.  

Spring-cleaning has grown into National Spring-Cleaning Week. This annual effort has expanded beyond house and business cleaning into peoples’ finances, technology, and other areas of a person’s life. With that in mind, Vitalia Active Adult Community – Rockside is looking forward to completing this year’s community-wide spring-cleaning effort!

I usually go through my HVAC system at home and work, after a long winter it usually needs some tuning to properly cool for the hot summers we experience. I also go through the exterior of my property and check for areas that may have been damaged during winter, like the sidewalk having chips from a snowplow or the patios needing power washing, to get all the dirt and grime off.

Spring-cleaning always sets you up for success as you enter the warm months. I consider it a way to enter the new year with a bang and keep your mechanical systems operating with maximum efficiency.

One big thing I like to do is spring-clean my life of old phone contacts and emails that are no longer relevant. Doctor appointments are scheduled, so I can have a clean bill of health come summertime.

This will be the third year of our tradition of spring-cleaning within the community and each year is better than the last! Come see for yourself how a clean, well-kept community brings smiles to its residents and staff.
