Vitalia Rockside Business Office Director Appreciates Community Employees

In today’s fast-paced world of healthcare, companies are increasingly realizing the importance of creating a positive workplace culture. Here at Vitalia Rockside, we understand employee recognition is essential to achieving this culture.

Employee recognition is just as it sounds: recognizing and thanking employees for their hard work and effort. At Vitalia Rockside, we like to show this appreciation in several ways. From social recognition, milestone awards, or our weekly creative follow-ups (CFUs), we always take a moment for our hard-working team members.

As the Business Office Director, I always promote employee appreciation. This past year, my favorite CFU was gift bags for all our excellent housekeepers. The bags were filled with refillable water jugs, candy, and notes from the directors thanking and reminding them how important they are to our community. Our housekeepers work tirelessly to assist our residents in maintaining their homes and always serve as a bright light in our residents’ days.

This is just one example of the many wonderful team members we have. We genuinely believe when done right, employee recognition creates a workplace culture that helps people thrive, promotes retention, and makes us a great place to work, which in turn makes us a great place to live.
